The training curriculum is the core of the CJLL project’s training activities and includes the entire training course and all the teaching tools provided.
The programme was developed to train the identified target groups on the project’s central topics, starting with students and researchers in the field of law, teachers and legal professionals.
The final version was shared with the partners and represents a guideline for the development of all the training activities of the project.
Likewise, it can be used by other actors, in particular universities, study centres, educational institutes, etc. as an open access tool for the replicability of the activities of the Climate Justice Living Lab.
Inside it is defined the programme, which details the topics of the curriculum and the teaching methods used.
Specifically, the programme is developed in four thematic groups:
1. Climate science
2. Environmental and climate governance
3. Human rights in the context of climate change
4. Climate litigation and climate justice
The curriculum thus defined provides the basis for the experimentation of the dedicated university course. Based on the guidelines and contents of the syllabus, developed by the Unipa project leader with the collaboration of the academic partners MSU and URV and A Sud, each university will test, for two consecutive academic years, a 48-hour course within the educational offer of their university.
The training curriculum is available in three versions: English, Italian and Spanish.
