On July 24, in Palermo, the final conference of the Erasmus+ Climate Justice Living Lab project will bring together legal scholars, researchers, and civil society representatives from various countries to discuss the role of law and climate policies in addressing the global crisis.

The final conference of the European project Climate Justice Living Lab (CJLL), titled “Climate Justice Perspectives in the Age of Global Conflict”, will be held on July 24, 2026, at the University of Palermo. This event will serve as a forum for international dialogue dedicated to the challenges of climate justice in a context marked by intensifying environmental, geopolitical, and social crises.
The project, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program, has worked over the past three years to strengthen the role of higher education in training legal professionals, researchers, journalists, activists, and communications professionals on issues of climate law and climate justice, by developing innovative training programs, open educational resources, and a European platform for cooperation between universities and civil society organizations. Project partners include the University of Palermo (coordinator), Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Mariupol State University, p-consulting, and A Sud Ecologia e Cooperazione.
The event will bring together university professors, legal experts, civil society representatives, and researchers from various countries to discuss the role of law, public policy, and climate litigation in addressing the global climate crisis.
The event will also be available via live stream.
