On May 16, 2025, the 13th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Contemporary Development of State-Building and Law-Making in Ukraine: Issues of Theory and Practice” will take place. The conference will be hosted by the Department of Law and will cover the following topics: International Law: Challenges and Prospects; Human Rights Through the Lens of Contemporary Challenges and Threats; Ukraine on the Path to Postwar Recovery: Legal Aspects; Criminal Justice During Wartime and in the Postwar Period; Climate Justice: Law, Policy, and Security. The conference will take the form of an active dialogue, an exchange of experiences and proposals for improving the legal response to contemporary challenges, as well as achieving the event’s goal: the exchange of theoretical and practical insights in the fields of international law, human rights, criminal justice, the legal framework for Ukraine’s post-war recovery, and climate justice.
