Climate Justice Now! Critical Approaches for Media and Climate Activism
The CJLL Winter School 2026— “Climate Justice Now! Critical Approaches for Media and Climate Activism”—runs online across nine sessions on 21, 22, 27, 28, 29 January and 3, 4, 10, 11 February (17:00–19:15 CET; 20 total hours) and is organised by Universitat Rovira i Virgili with Università di Palermo, A Sud, p-consulting, and Mariupol State University.
Taught in English and free of charge, it offers a certificate to participants attending at least seven sessions. The programme blends theory, round tables and a practical workshop, with materials available via the CJLL platform, and covers four strands: Understanding Climate Justice; Communication, Journalism and Climate Justice (including digital/physical security); Defending Climate Justice through Advocacy and Action; and Eco-Anxiety and Emotional Resilience. It targets journalists, climate activists, students and researchers from diverse disciplines and young legal professionals.
Registration closes 15 January 2026, with places limited to 75 and priority for applicants with the strongest fit and motivation.
