Lucie Greyl

Post graduated in Anthropology with a Political sciences master, she has extensive experience in European project management, as well as in ecological economics and political ecology research. She provides training on environmental and climate justice and coordinates A Sud work on climate litigation networks at national and EU level. She is among the initiators and the coordinator of the Giudizio Universale climate litigation and campaign, the first of its kind in Italy.

Prof. Maurizio Cellura

Prof. Maurizio Cellura is professor of environmental physics at the Department of engineering of the University of Palermo. He is specialised in the evaluation of environmental impacts and life cycle assessment. He teaches building physics, energy efficiency and eco-design of systems and processes, and sustainable energy solutions for buildings at the Department of environmental engineering and he also gives lectures in numerous other Universities. Over the years, he has received several consultancy assignments by public bodies at both national and regional level. He is the director of the centre for sustainability and ecological transition of the University of Palermo.

Jordi Prades

Jordi Prades holds a Ph. D in Communication (URV 2015), a master in Environmental Law (URV, 2011) and a BA in Journalism (UAB, 1995). His research interests are related to both risks and benefits communication practices, including meaning making processes, risk perception, public participation, and conflict management, focusing on topics such as the environment, food, health and biotechnology. He participated in several European and Spanish projects about communication and climate services (INDECIS), climate change (METAFPERCOM), urban pollution and transportation (ACEPTA), chemical emergencies, and food (FoodRisC, EYTO). As a journalist, he worked in several mainstream media and official bodies. He is a member of the Asterisc Communication Research Group.

Anna Maria Segarra

Expert in co-creation for innovation. Chemistry and Biochemistry Degree (2000), Master’s Degree in Catalysis (2001), PhD (2001-2004) and Postgraduate degree in Coaching (2016) at the URV. 2001.Researcher in the Dyson Perrins Laboratory, Oxford 2004-2006.Researcher in the ICCOM-CNR, Italy. 2005-2015.Joining several teaching and research staff positions at the Faculty of Chemistry and the School of Chemical Engineering at the URV. 3 PhD thesis supervised, 30 papers in high IF journals. 2015-2017.Designing and facilitating workshops on organizational development, co-creation and visual thinking at URV, ICS (Catalan health institute), Tactics S.L. and Barcelona Biomedical Research Park. 2017-2020. Joining the position of an expert in co-creation in the partnership between the international platform for co-creation and open innovation Demola Global and the URV in southern Catalonia. 2020-until now, manager of the Co-creation Unit for innovation at FURV-URV. Co-creation for Innovation unit at FURV-URV members have contributed to several projects related to co-creation for innovation.

Alexandre Moreno

Master’s degree in European Integration (2014) and PhD in law (2019), both at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Nowadays, he holds a position as a postdoctoral researcher at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. His postdoctoral research is focused on transboundary cooperation to protect biodiversity. During last years, he combined different contracts as a visiting professor at University of Girona between 2020-2022 and the Universitat Rovira i Virgili since July 2022. He is member of the Tarragona Centre for Environmental Law Studies (CEDAT). Main research fields are: international and European law, trafficking in human beings, environmental law and human rights.

Gastón Médici-Colombo

Gastón Medici-Colombo is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Barcelona and an associate researcher at the Tarragona Centre for Environmental Law Studies (CEDAT). He is currently collaborating with various international projects on climate change litigation, including the Sabin Center Climate Change Litigation Database (University of Columbia) and the Climate Change Litigation Initiative (University of Strathclyde). His main teaching areas are Public International Law and Environmental Law and his research addresses issues such as climate change and environmental litigation, environmental democracy and the links between human rights and environmental protection.

Researcher at the Jean Monet Chair on European Environmental Law, University of Barcelona (Spain). Main research fields are: climate justice, climate migration, environmental defenders, Rights of Nature.

Prof. Nicola Gullo

Prof. Nicola Gullo is professor of administrative law at the Department of law of University of Palermo. He is specialised in the protection of natural ecosystems and natural resources and teaches environmental law in the departments of law, natural sciences, and environmental engineering. He also gives lectures in numerous other Universities on environmental law and has received, over the years, several consultancy assignments by public bodies at both national and regional level. He is member of the Scientific Council of the centre for sustainability and ecological transition of the University of Palermo and the scientific director and coordinator of the second level specializing master course on “law and technique of ecological transition” activated by the departments of law and engineering of the University of Palermo.

Marcos De Armenteras

Assistant Professor of Public International Law, European Union Law, Legal Theory and Sociology of Law at the Department of Public Law at the Universitat de les Illes Balears. Previously, he was postdoctoral researcher at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa, Italy, and PhD candidate at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. He holds a Law Degree from the Universitat de Barcelona, Master in Sociology of Law from the Instituto de Sociología del Derecho de Oñati, Master in Environmental Law from the Universidad del País Vasco, and PhD in Law from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. Main research field of research: intergenerational justice, climate justice, and climate litigation.

Juan Ramon Fallada

Lecturer Professor on Philosophy of Law at the University Rovira I Virgili. Member of the Research Group on Territory, Citizenship, and Sustainability and at the Centre for Environmental Law Studies (CEDAT). Co-director, along with Prof. Hajime Nishitani, of the International Seminar on Human Mobility and Human Rights, held within the International Network of Universities (INU) (courses 2018-2019 and 2019-2020). Anzhelika Balabanyts

Head of the Department of Marketing and Tourism of Mariupol State University.

Field of research: a range of problems of strategic management and marketing of trade and tourism enterprises, integrated management of marketing interaction processes, management of regional development of the tourism industry.

She was the coordinator of the international scientific project TEMPUS “MODEP” (MOdernization et DEvolution de cours Professionnalis) 144920-TEMPUS-2008-FR.JPCR on the basis of partnership with the French University of Auvergne-Clairemont-1, which resulted in the creation of the Franco-Ukrainian Institute of Management of the Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky (2009-2014).

Vasileios Kyriakopoulos

Graphic designer (UI/UX) and web developer with a bachelor’s degree in computer science & MSc in Technologies of Intelligent Information Systems and Communications. He carries a long working experience in network administration, android application development, web design, and graphic design, showcasing extensive professional experience. Since 2022, he has actively participated in various national, co-financed, and EU programs. His expertise extends to the architecture and management of Internet of Things (IoT) systems, coupled with proficiency in developing machine learning algorithms. Anastasios Konstantakopoulos

An IT manager, holding a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MSc in Software Engineering. He boasts extensive experience in developing educational online training platforms, website construction, and a broad range of IT sector operations, including server management and technical support. Since 2014, he has actively engaged in numerous national, co-financed, and EU programs. He possesses certified expertise in cybersecurity and proficiency in utilizing Linux systems. Moreover, he has made valuable contributions to several EU projects aimed at the green transition, leveraging his expertise as an IT tools development expert.

Panagiotis G. Anastassopoulos

With a foundation in mathematics complemented by an MBA and numerous certifications in digital tools and programming, P.G. Anastassopoulos offers over 23 years of expertise in pioneering IT-driven business development. His career underscores a commitment to continuous learning through IT advancements and digital education. He possesses extensive proficiency in leading national educational initiatives and managing EU projects, with a strong focus on utilizing technology to drive progress. Notably, he is a member of the ET 2020 Working Group of the European Commission, serves on the Board of Directors of EfVET, and holds a pivotal position as the head of the Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) Thematic Team within the Forum. He has also been actively involved in several EU projects tailored to the protection of the environment.

Charitini-Maria Skoulidi

An economist with a Master’s degree in tourism, specializing in improving accessibility for individuals with disabilities. With over 24 years of professional experience, she has successfully managed various national and EU projects, particularly focusing on vocational education and training (VET) and adult education. She excels in developing training programs and holds certification as an adult educator from the Greek National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance. Additionally, she has held directorial positions in adult training institutions and a social enterprise dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations. Notably, she has served as a project manager in numerous EU projects centered around the green transition and green policies. 

Dr. Giulia Torta

Dr. Giulia Torta is research fellow at the Department of law of University of Palermo. She has a PhD in Human Rights: evolution, protection and limits at the University of Palermo and her research activity is focused on the fields of administrative law and environmental law. From Aug 2019 to Oct 2020, she was Postdoc researcher at the University of Paranà (Brasil) where she researched on the topic of the protection of water. She gives lectures on environmental law both at the University of Palermo (Departments of law, natural sciences, and environmental engineering) and at other Universities.
