CJLL
Training curriculum
The training curriculum is the heart of the CJLL project’s training activities. It includes the full training course, and all the teaching materials provided.
The programme was designed to train the key target groups of the project, starting with students and researchers in law, as well as teachers and legal professionals.
The final version has been shared with project partners and serves as a guideline for all training activities within the project.
Additionally, it is available as an open-access tool for others — such as universities, research centres, and educational institutes — who wish to replicate the Climate Justice Living Lab activities.
The curriculum outlines the programme’s topics and the teaching methods used.
It is organized into four main thematic groups:
1. Climate science
2. Environmental and climate governance
3. Human rights in the context of climate change
4. Climate litigation and climate justice
This curriculum forms the foundation for a dedicated university course. Using the syllabus developed by the project leader at Unipa, together with academic partners MSU, URV, and A Sud, each university will pilot a 48-hour course for two academic years as part of their educational offerings.
The training curriculum is available in three versions: English, Italian and Spanish.
